The Mischabel

The Mischabel is a beautiful, split level vacation home in the centre of Zermatt. It is on the second floor of our building and sleeps 6-8 people. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and the Master Bedroom can be used as a family room to sleep 4 people.

Great care has been taken to give your holiday home a truly welcoming atmosphere. The large open-plan kitchen/dining/living-room leads on to a full-width, south-facing balcony looking directly at the Matterhorn. There is also a 65″ home cinema system complete with all UK channels and Apple TV.

The dining area comfortably seats 6-8 people so you can enjoy meals at home and in the evenings (or on bad weather days) you can get cosy in front of the fire watching a film or reading your book. When it is time to sleep the beds are super-comfortable.

We want you to feel as though you are staying with friends not simply renting a vacation home. Essential supplies will be in stock so that you can make tea/coffee and have a glass of wine without having to go shopping straight away and our concierge service will also ensure that your holiday in Zermatt as hassle-free as possible.

Could Not be Easier! This is a very nice apartment with incredible views of the Matterhorn! Everything we needed was right there. Easy walking distance to all of town as well as the slopes. Lizzie was a great communicator. To top it off, Lizzie had her concierge meet us at the train station with a taxi waiting! A great experience!

My family and I had an amazing stay in Zermatt due in no small part to Lizzie’s incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and helpful guidance. There were a lot of moving pieces for our family of 5 with young(ish) children - train tickets, and timetables, taxis, equipment rentals, multiple restaurant reservations during high season, booking a mountain guide - and Lizzie (and her team) made every step as easy as possible. Great apartment, great host, can’t recommend highly enough.

Beautiful, spacious apartment overlooking the Matterhorn from the living room, dining room and one of the bedrooms. Eating breakfast with such a view - it was pure pleasure. Well-equipped kitchen. Which was very nice: we were greeted with a bottle of wine, fruit and Toblerone chocolates. Very good location close to the center. We also received a voucher for a taxi ride - which was very useful when returning with suitcases.
